Generally powdered pigments have aggregates and agglomerates which can not be further broken down into primary particles by milling process. This problem is mainly observed in Black, Phthalocyanine Blue, Phthalocyanine Green, Red, Yellow etc. pigments. Black is a very hard to disperse pigment. It contains aggregates and agglomerates which creates specs (poor dispersion due to undispersed particles) in blown films, thin injection moulded parts etc.
In M.G.Polyblend’s Micro Black PVC masterbatch, the pigment is dispersed to the finest possible particle size by using specialty dispersant and additives under strict process conditions. This Micro black PVC masterbatch gives excellent dispersion in final applications.
These pre-dispersed masterbatches contain a wax carrier in which high loading of pigments thoroughly dispersed . These wax base PVC masterbatch can be used to colour PVC and crosslinked PE.

It can be used directly in place of dry pigments in high speed mixer during dry blend preparation or it can be used directly through on line dosing unit attached to extruder or injection moulding machine.
RECOMMENDED DOSAGE

0.1 to 2.0 % depending on the final shade required. At lower level it will give light grey colour and as the dose level is increased it will give black colour in the final product.
